Marcus Maloney, CRPParalegal
Marcus Maloney, CRP, obtained his legal assisting certificate from American River College in Sacramento. In 2015, on his first attempt, he passed the Paralegal Core Competency Exam ™ administered by the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA), earning his CRP™ (CORE Registered Paralegal) credential.
Mr. Maloney is experienced in both Family and Immigration law. Prior to joining the Acquest Law team, he spent a year as an immigration services intern in the International Rescue Committee’s Sacramento office, helping refugees and asylum seekers from more than two dozen nations apply for permanent residency, file petitions for overseas family members, and become naturalized United States Citizens.
Marcus, who earned a Master’s Degree in English and spent a decade as a journalist before becoming a paralegal, is the proud father of two school-age sons.
